Customer Success Story
Overland Groups is one of Australia’s largest pork producers, running a vertically integrated operation that spans farms, abattoir processing, retail stores, online sales, and the Dardenup Butchering Company wholesale and retail division.
Operating across six or seven distinct legal entities, the group’s financial operations were restricted by legacy setups built for a smaller, simpler business. Separate business units ran on disconnected platforms, Attache and Sybiz, each with its own chart of accounts.
Reconciling those systems consumed a significant amount of productivity in manual spreadsheets. The practical effect showed up at the top of the business: it took the CFO up to five days to compile and present a consolidated view to the board.
The business needed a single platform to bring both Westpork and Dardenup Butchering Company onto the same ERP, so a fast moving market wouldn’t leave them behind.
The Solution
DWR designed and implemented an ERP roadmap built around a single goal: unify multi-entity financial management onto one platform, with a clean foundation the business could build on.
ERP core
DWR delivered a high pressure implementation on time and on budget.
The Impact
The NetSuite implementation shifted Overland Group’s finance team from transactional book closers to strategic, data-driven business drivers.
The possibility to access my whole ERP with AI was something really powerful to me, because now I can ask any questions without overloading my team and have that answer straight away. It makes my decisions much faster than they used to be.
CFO, Overland Groups
A separate product, built by the same team
TaskDrive is an independent product, not a DWR service. It shares DWR’s founding team and 35 years of NetSuite heritage, and it’s the AI operating layer Overland Groups now runs directly over their NetSuite environment.
The CFO’s calculator moment. With TaskDrive, the CFO can run detailed analysis, like reconciling accounts receivable aging across thirty, sixty, and ninety day buckets, directly through natural language queries, without waiting on the finance team to compile it manually.
DWR has delivered 250+ NetSuite implementations over 15+ years, from Sydney and Melbourne teams who understand Australian compliance and mid-market operations.
No obligation. Straight answers.
