Key Results

One source of truth

for the entire business

Was: reporting stretched by growth

Every division

visible in real time

Was: harder to see as the business grew

Every client touchpoint

tracked in NetSuite

Was: not followed in one place

The Challenge

Growth that outpaced the reporting

  • Rapid growth
  • New service lines
  • Rising headcount
  • Reporting gaps

Employment Innovations was expanding in several directions at once. As Rebecca Day, then CFO, explained, "Throughout 2013 and 2014 we secured the Asia Pacific rights for some powerful new workforce solutions and, coupled with excellent organic growth, our headcount grew significantly at the same time."

More services and a bigger team meant more activity across more divisions, and the reporting had to keep pace.

The business had already chosen NetSuite as the platform for that growth. Once it was live, the priority became getting the very most out of the system and making it as user friendly as possible for the team, so Employment Innovations brought in DWR.

What the business needed to see

Lead indicators, not just history

Rebecca and her team wanted dashboards and reports that did more than record existing activity. They needed to spot the lead indicators that would keep growth on track.

The Solution

NetSuite shaped around how the team works

DWR started with configuration, tuning NetSuite to the way Employment Innovations' divisions actually operated. The next step was reporting: live, role-based dashboards that brought KPIs, report snapshots, alerts and reminders into one real time view.

NetSuite optimisation and support

Client touchpoints moved into NetSuite so the team could follow every interaction in one place, and DWR kept the focus on performance and on a system the whole team found easy to work in.

The Impact

One version of the truth, live

The difference showed first in the data. Employment Innovations had a single source of truth for the entire business, with reliable figures available in real time.

The bigger shift was visibility. Leadership could see every division from one platform, and up-to-the-minute dashboards supported faster, better informed decisions.

In Their Words

DWR came highly recommended and we are very happy we made the decision to partner with them. They really are subject matter experts when it comes to NetSuite implementation, configuration and performance.
