Is on-premise ERP more secure than cloud ERP?

Not inherently. True cloud vendors secure the infrastructure and apply patches for every customer, while on-premise security depends on the business funding its own patching, monitoring and expertise. On-premise can suit strict regulatory or data residency needs, but it isn't automatically safer.
