NetSuite WMS is most cost-effective for warehouses with enough volume and complexity to justify the directed-task model. A small operation with limited SKUs and straightforward put-away will generally get what they need from Inventory Management or Advanced Inventory. WMS becomes the right choice when picking errors, traceability requirements, or fulfilment speed are creating operational problems that better stock data alone won't resolve.
